The Official Juke Kartel Street Team

It was October 23...and I really needed something to do. Why not start a street team, right? I had some experience but really was just flying by the seat of my pants in the beginning. The actual emails between myself, Tina, Shae and the band that led to the creation of the street team are availabe to read in the forum under How the Street Team Got Started.

I had a crush on Toby during the show and had wanted him to win, but I was not a part of any online discussions. I came upon this site one day and laughed like crazy at CSW Hoochie (Tina) who coined the phrase "Hottie Toddie" and became the original Todd stalker! Tina was the first member of the Street Team and my partner. It's funny how things work out....I'm a trial lawyer....a bit flamboyant and dramatic and full of big ideas.......Tina is an accountant who sees details and fine print and looks at things through much more rational eyes. I know nothing about computers and lots about people. Tina knows all the technical stuff and constantly lectures me on possible Internal Revenue complications. We found each other in this crazy cyber world and created this street team at first for fun and excitement....now,...as a labor of love for a band we now consider to be our friends. And as amazing as this street team is, the friendships we have all developed here are just as amazing as anything else you will see.

The response has been amazing. In just a short time, we have survived two tours, release of an ep, and many bumps and curves in the road along the way. We learned so much about marketing and promotions, that by the time we hit the supernova tour, we were old pros. And all of you made us look so good with all of your hard work, dedication, and time devoted. Who could forget those JK glow bracelets gleaming through the arena and the lines to meet Juke Kartel? Amazing stuff.

Today there is an Official United States Juke Kartel Street Team, Official Austalian Juke Kartel Street Team, Official Canadian Juke Kartel Street team and even an Iclelandic team! Fans from around the globe are working together to get this band the recognition they deserve. Big things are happening.

If you are new and not yet a part of the team, welcome. You are going to make a lot of new friends and have a lot of fun. You are going to get to know the greatest bunch of guys in the world and incredible musicians. You're going to be a part of something really special.
